I miss Jon to this day. He was charismatic, talented and generous. He loved his dogs and the kids he taught. Jon wandered the country for a time after high school, finding his way, but finally settled in Vancouver after assuming the role of teacher which suited him. Jon never married, although there were many women in his life. No kids either. Jon Latimer was the sort of personality that would be welcomed anywhere he went, but he never really found home in the full sense of the word.
